Join us for “Songs to the Midnight Sun” and a Gregg Ciprioni dinner on May 6

Join us and Chef Gregg Ciprioni of Garces Trading Company to celebrate the close of the 2011-2012 concert season with an evening of great music and great food. Beginning with “Songs to the Midnight Sun,” we’ll explore the evocative and haunting sounds of the northern summer, including works by Thomas Tallis (1505–1585), Einojuhani Rautavaara (1928–), Eric Whitacre (1970–), and Jussi Chydenius (1972–).

Following the concert, we’ll be feasting on a personalized menu of handcrafted barbecue with a Scandinavian twist, accompanied with a few special musical selections that weren’t part of the evening’s concert program. We can think of no better way to toast the successes of this year’s season and celebrate the friends and supporters who have made such work possible, and we look forward to seeing you there.
